अल-जदान ने यह बात कही क्योंकि गाज़ा में इस्राइल-फ़िलिस्तीनी युद्ध के कारण सऊदी अरब को अनेक आर्थिक संकटों का सामना करना पड़ सकता है। वे यह भी कहते हैं कि युद्ध के परिणामस्वरूप उनकी अर्थव्यवस्था को प्रभावित हो सकता है और उसे संभालने के लिए वे तैयार नहीं हैं।
उन्होंने गाज़ा में हो रही उन्नति की जंग को बंद करने की भी अपील की है और कहा है कि युद्ध से केवल अधिक हानि होगी, जिससे कि राष्ट्र को और भी कठिनाई का सामना करना पड़ेगा।
उन्होंने सऊदी अरब की सरकार को आर्थिक और राजनीतिक स्थिति का समाधान खोजने का आग्रह किया है, ताकि देश को गाज़ा युद्ध से होने वाली आर्थिक और सामाजिक चुनौतियों का सामना करने में मदद मिल सके।
